1996 Summer Olympics

In the summer of 1996, Atlanta became just the 5th American city to host the Games, and Centennial Olympic Park was the centerpiece for the city. The Fountain of Rings features the Olympic Ring symbol to celebrate the city’s international history and America’s record 101 total medals. The Park is now the hub for the Big Peach’s tourism district.

The Heart of Downtown Atlanta

The Park is within walking distance of the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, Imagine It! Children’s Museum of Atlanta, Inside CNN Atlanta Studio Tour, National Museum of Patriotism, Underground Atlanta, and many more ATL attractions.
