Georgia Aquarium Atlanta

Filled with more than 500 species of marine animals and fish, the Georgia Aquarium is the world's largest aquarium. Group Tickets

The Georgia Aquarium offers special group rates are available for parties of 25 or more. Groups can benefit from express entry, special discounts and timed ticketing. Group rates are available daily, however black out dates do apply. All group require pre-payment and advance reservations are required. For more information on group tickets, call: 404-581-4121.

Parking, Directions & Public Transportation

The Georgia Aquarium is located at 225 Baker Street in downtown Atlanta, across from Centennial Olympic Park. Ample parking is available in the large garage attached to the aquarium. Visitors can pay for parking at the Aquarium ticket booths, member's entrance or information desk. Just remember to bring your parking ticket with you when you leave your vehicle. Public transportation is available on MARTA by bus or train. The MARTA fare is $2.00 per person and customers can also use unlimited weekend, weekly and monthly passes on the route. FAQs

  • What should/can I bring to the aquarium?

    Cameras, comfortable shoes and layered clothing are all recommended. Strollers and wheelchairs are allowed. Outside food and drink, chewing gum and weapons are not allowed inside the aquarium.

  • Are there any animal encounters?

    Yes, the aquarium offers dolphin, beluga whale, whale shark, sea otter, and penguin encounter programs. Encounters are offered by reservation. Prices vary and do not include regular admission.
