Zoo Atlanta

Nestled in Atlanta's historic Grant Park, Zoo Atlanta is a stunning wildlife park that showcases more then 200 species of animals from around the world. With animals like Giant Pandas, African lions, orangutans, elephants, and gorillas all housed in lifelike landscapes that duplicate their natural habitats, the zoo is a fabulous place to learn about the natural world. Visitors can also discover with interesting educational programs and hands-on encounters.

Groups and Parties

The zoo offers special reduced pricing for groups of 10 or more. Group tours are offered with advanced reservations and cost an additional $6-$9 per person, depending on tour type. The zoo is also a perfect location for birthday parties, corporate events, family reunions, and church groups, offering unique venue rentals and in-house catering services.

Picnic at the Zoo

Make your visit to Zoo Atlanta even more fun with a picnic. Pack your favorite food items and bring them in. There are picnic areas and tables located in the KIDZone and Grand Patio areas. Glass containers, straws and outside alcohol are not allowed in the Zoo.

    Yes, both strollers and wheelchairs are available inside the entrance at Safari Outfitters. Strollers and wheelchairs are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • What is the Panda Cam at the Atlantic Zoo?

    The Panda Cam is a live, 24-hour video camera that lets visitors view the zoo's giant pandas, Mei Lun and Mei Huan, in real time.
